Aggression Rehabilitation

Some of the most extensive aggression-rehabilitation programs in North America, for dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes, with any issue. Thousands of dogs worldwide, with very high success rates.

Have you been kicked out of an obedience class because your dog barked or lunged at other dogs? Do you avoid dog parks, or dread having people over? Have other trainers promised they could help, and couldn't?

We can help. And we can prove it.

Talk is cheap, almost any trainer will say the same thing. Do your homework: meet the trainer, watch their dogs, and check the videos and testimonials. We produce plenty of both.

A Balanced, Results-Based Approach

Private First

We start one-on-one, teaching you and your dog in private lessons, and only add group classes and distractions once you're both ready. Group-first with a reactive dog just adds stress.

Truly Balanced

About 80% positive reinforcement, plus fair corrections and clear boundaries when they're needed. "Positive-only" alone fails in the situations that matter most; balance is what gets lasting results.

We Coach You

Training the dog is the easy part. We focus on teaching youwhat to do, why, when, and how. Educated owners get dogs that adjust fast and hold their progress.

Private training is the beginning. The final step is group and real-world trainingwalks, parks, real distractions, that mirrors the situations you actually live in. Most clients arrive certain they'll "never" manage a park or a walk. After applying what we teach, they're amazed on and off leash.

What We Solve

Beyond aggression, our behaviour-modification work targets the root cause, not the symptom. Common issues we resolve:

People & handler aggression
Dog aggression & leash reactivity
Snapping, nipping & biting
Separation anxiety
Destructive behaviour & chewing
Excessive barking
Jumping up on people
Pulling on the leash
Housebreaking & soiling
Chasing cars & fence fighting
Counter-surfing & food stealing
Bolting, we give you the best recall ever

Ongoing group classes are included for the life of the dog at most UPK9 locations (some fees may apply), so if you ever see regression, you can come back any week and get your dog back in top form.
